Tax Intern
If you're in search of a career working with entrepreneurs on the topics of taxation, management, and accounting; while studying for your CPA or EA license, we are the firm you're looking for. We are currently in search of a staff accountant who is looking to build their experience in accounting and taxation for privately held businesses and their key executives. This individual will be responsible for serving client accounts, to include bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, calculating estimated tax payments, and preparation of tax returns. This individual will be the initial point of contact for the clients they work on. Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualification and Preferences

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in tax, accounting, or
business-related field
- CPA eligible or less than a year from becoming
CPA eligible

Professional
- 1- 2 years’ work experience preferred
- Prior experience with accounting and tax preparation software beneficial (i.e., QuickBooks, CCH Axcess or ProSystems fx)
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
